Vegan Quotes For World Vegan Day

The 1st of November is World Vegan Day, recognised since 1994 to commemorate the term Vegan. At the same time, the UK Vegan Society was formed, and in 1960 the US followed, and the American Vegan Society was born.

Today, around the world, the vegan movement continues to grow rapidly, with a recent report showing that 1 in 10 Americans don’t eat meat and that 10% of the population over 18 years old are vegan.

Research shows the following reasons for a vegan lifestyle were recorded:

  • Religious and cultural beliefs

  • Animal welfare concerns

  • Personal health precautions

Why? Some reasons for the change could include the following:

  • Vegan celebrities and influencers

  • Availability of plant-based meats

  • Environmental activists

  • Vegan options at fast-food chains

  • Availability of plant-based milk

  • Vegan options at dine-in restaurants

  • Food allergies and intolerances (dairy/eggs)

  • Collective movement for sustainable alternatives

If you are vegan, vegetarian, or simply looking to reduce your consumption of animal products, I want you to feel supported and encouraged. Remember, the vegan lifestyle is not just about diet. It is about how we stand up for what we feel is right.

Extend compassion and be kind to every kind.
